Dr. Bala Balachandran is a world renowned Management Guru specializing in the area of Cost optimization, TCM and several other strategic Management philosophies. He is a member of Board in various companies including Tata Group, Godrej Group etc. Prof. Bala also serves several ministries in the advisory capacity and is currently involved with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in setting up of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. He also serves on the International Advisory Board of the UniTAR at Kuala Lumpur and renders consulting/advisory services to the top brass of the Malaysian Government. He also serves as the Executive Professor and Strategy Advisor to the Dean, at the Bauer College, University of Houston with special responsibility in conceptualizing and delivering Executive Education degree programs in India with special focus on the energy sector. He was awarded Padmashri in 2001.



mahadevanDr. B Mahadevan, EADS—SMI Professor of Sourcing and Supply Management, Operations Management, IIM Bangalore has more than 15 years of wide ranging professional experience in teaching, research, consulting and academic administration at IIM Bangalore and other reputed academic institutions such as IIT Delhi and XLRI, Jamshedpur. He was a visiting scholar at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College, NH, USA during 1999 - 2000. He was also a retainer consultant to Deloitte Consulting LLP, USA during 2001 - 2002. He obtained M.Tech and Ph.D. from the Industrial Engineering and Management Division of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.


Dr. Mahadevan is an accomplished researcher, has authored books in Manufacturing & Operations management topics, published articles in International journals. His current research interests include Design of software for manufacturing system design, supply chain management issues in E-Markets and inventory policy framework in product remanufacturing.



ravindarRavindra Krishnappa, Director and Co-Founder of Inatech Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., has been in the IT industry for more than two decades. He started with Tata Unisys after obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent many years outside India in the US, UK and Switzerland. He left Tata Unisys Ltd. in 1995 to help start a business and software consulting venture, EWI Business Consulting. The business was acquired by Oracle Corporation and renamed Oracle Solution Services (SSI) in 1999. At the time of leaving Oracle, in February 2003, Ravindra was in the role of Executive Director for the offshore consulting division (SSI).

An expert in global ERP management and implementations, Ravindra’s professional interests include business and strategy consulting, application of new technology and change management. He is a regular speaker at seminars and is also on the board of several companies in an advisory capacity.



sheakarShekhar holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, an ME from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and a BE in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, India.

Shekhar is a Partner at Accel India, with investment focus on Internet, mobile, and technology-enabled businesses. Shekhar has been an active angel investor in Bangalore since 2007 and has advised several early stage startups in and around Bangalore. Before joining Accel, Shekhar headed VeriSign India as Country Manager.

Before VeriSign India, Shekhar worked as Vice President at VeriSign in Mountain View in their mobile division. Before VeriSign, Shekhar worked closely with Philippe Kahn in creating LightSurf Technologies, which was acquired by VeriSign in 2005. Before LightSurf, Shekhar worked as part of the management team at Starfish Software, which was acquired by Motorola in 1998. Shekhar started his career at Texas Instruments in Bangalore and then worked for Wipro Technologies. Post his studies, he worked at Qwest (U.S. West Technologies) in Boulder, Colorad



Prof. S. Sriram is the executive director of Great Lakes Institute of Management, one of India’s leading Business School. He has more than two decades of experience in management education and consulting. Previously the Chairperson, Executive MBA and Professor of Strategy at S.P.Jain Institute of Management & Research.

He has also completed research in the area of "The international competitiveness of the Indian Industry" sponsored by ASSOCHAM and "Intellectual Property Rights and its impact on Pharmaceutical Industry" study commissioned by Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India
